Assignment
Since 1980, the Moulin à Musique has been promoting children's encounters with music. Through the creation and presentation of stage works, it combines music with other art forms. It offers shows and activities that are both fun and educational, in a spirit of creation, discovery, and exchange.
Under the co-direction of Mélanie Cullin and Sandrine Lemieux, Le Moulin à Musique explores a vast musical repertoire, whether classical, baroque, contemporary, or traditional. Through its unique approach, it opens children's horizons and prepares young ears for listening to quality musical works.
In pursuit of its mission, Le Moulin à Musique engages socially and reaches out to young people, wherever they are. Through research and musical awareness workshops, and through its performances, it fosters encounters that nourish its creative process, in a constant dialogue with children.

A word from the co-founder
Since childhood, music and theater have made their nest in my life and have allowed me for 40 years to transmit my passion to children and the adults who accompany them.
This passion is expressed through the shows we create, which aim to awaken children's musical curiosity. By integrating different disciplines such as theater and music, we offer children a different way of listening, feeling, and being inspired.
Performing artists are conduits, lamplighters, and initiators. Entrusted with this mission, the artists of MOULIN À MUSIQUE are involved in the creative process and bring their talent and sensitivity to the work. This long and patient work allows them to embody their characters with conviction and brilliantly interpret the instrumental pieces of the work.
Live performance offers a wonderful opportunity to come together, communicate, and share. On this website, you will find original and innovative creations that appeal to the intelligence and sensitivity of children aged 3 to 15.
By offering children creations that match their overflowing and spontaneous imagination, we sow sparks in their eyes.
Thank you for being part of our mission.
